- 1959 Company established as an instrument repair facility on the Eastside of Detroit.
- In the 1960's became an AC/Delco authorized repair facility for gauges, wiper motors, starters and other electrical components.
- 1967 Company acquired by the Wright Family.
- In the 1970's developed the automotive aftermarket for Dana Cruise Controls. Became Dana's largest distributor for cruise controls.
Began to assemble speedometer cables in volume for cruise control and heavy truck applications.
- During the late seventies and the 1980's developed products such as mechanical speedometers and tachometers, electrical and mechanical
gauges, ratio adapters, right angle drive adapters and control cables.
- By 1985 had OEM contracts with Ford, GM, Caterpillar, Case New Holland (CNH), Volvo, General Dynamics and AM General.
- 1986 Received FAT approval from the US Department of Defense for specifications MIL-I-10986, MIL-I-26525 and A-A-52508, for pressure, temperature and fuel level gauges, voltmeters, and temperature senders. We are also QPL approved for all items within MIL-DTL-10215; mechanical speedometers and tachometers, flexible shaft assemblies and cores, right angle drive adapters and bulkhead connectors.
- 1988 combined five Detroit locations into an 18,000 square foot production and office facility located in Shelby Township MI. (Detroit Suburb)
- In the 1990's focused on quality improvements. Received Ford's Q-1 award.
- 1996 Acquired Accurate Instruments and entered the automotive aftermarket.
- In the late 1990's developed and received First Article Test approval from the US Department of Defense for fuel level, pressure and temperature
gauges as well as voltmeters.
- Over the past thirty years we have expanded our OEM customer list to include all major automotive, heavy truck, construction, agricultural and
off-road equipment manufacturers in North America.
- Our focus for the new Millennium is on globalization of our company and products.
